These T&Cs are in the nature of a contract between you (member) and the company. By registering for the membership you agree that you have read and accepted these T&Cs and agree to be legally bound by the T&Cs.
1.1 People Matters Pte. Ltd. ("the Company") is a company which has its registered office at 38 Beach Road, #29-11, South Beach Tower Singapore - 189767.
1.2 The Company organizes conferences and events in India and abroad. These conferences and events draw participation from delegates, attendees, volunteers and sponsors from all over the world.
1.3 These T&Cs set out the contract between the Company and the delegate. Where an organization nominates its employee(s) to attend the Council, the organization will be considered to be the delegate/party to this T&C.
The following terms apply to persons who participate in TLC as members:
If You choose to participate as a member at TLC then you agree to pay the applicable fees for the same as specified on the Website ("Membership Fees"). Upon successful payment of an applicable fee, you shall be issued a "Pass" to attend and participate in TLC as a member. The Pass shall be e-mailed to you on the e-mail address provided by you at the time of registration. The Pass is non-transferable/ non-assignable to a third party.

The refund of fees will be made after deducting applicable admin and bank charges borne by us against your registration. No refund will be made if cancellation is not made within the specified timeline.
The Company may at any time, with giving notice along with appropriate reason change, cancel or postpone the membership, change its venue or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. We will notify you of any postponements, or changes as soon as practically possible by keeping our website updated with the latest information.
In this case, the company will return the full membership fee paid to them in connection with the membership, if participants would like to withdraw the candidature. Other than that, neither the Company nor any of its officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person related to the membership.
The Company shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control and without the fault or negligence of the Company or its subcontractors. For one or more of such reasons, the Company may postpone, reschedule or cancel the event without liability on the part of the Company. In the event TLC cannot be held or is postponed pursuant to this section, the Company shall not be liable to any person for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses.
All personal or other information provided by You will be used in accordance with thePrivacy Policy as displayed on the Website of the Company. By submitting registration details, delegates agreed and share his/her consent to allow the People Matters to share this data (User's name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, Company, designation etc.with other parties/service providers involved in the membership for promotions or other purpose.
We reserve the right to terminate/ refund/ reserve your membership immediately, if, at any time after your registration for the membership and/or during your participation as a delegate/volunteer/ sponsor at the membership, We observe that your behavior:
In case of termination of your participation for the reasons mentioned above except "d", We shall have no liability/obligation towards refunding the Fees paid by you for participation in the membership.
You are expected to obtain your own insurance cover at your own cost in connection with your attendance and participation. We shall not be liable for any injury or damage caused to you or your property at the events.
In case you require an Entry Visa to attend the physical meet ups, then it shall be Your sole responsibility to procure such an Entry Visa at your own cost. In the event that You do not receive the Entry Visa in time for You to attend the meet ups, We shall be under no obligation to refund the Fees to You unless you avail the option of canceling your ticket with in 30 days prior to the membership, in accordance with Our Refund / Cancellation Policy. Further, the Company assumes no liability for any costs including transportation, hotel reservations or any other costs incurred by the participant(s) in connection with their attendance or participation at the meet ups.
To the extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim all warranties or conditions, either express or implied, in respect to any aspect of the membership or any material related thereto. You acknowledge and agree that in accepting these T&Cs you have not relied on any representation or warranty that is not expressly included in these T&Cs and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation which is not a part of these T&Cs.
We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to change, modify, add or remove portions of these T&Cs, at any time without any prior written notice to You. It is Your responsibility to review these T&Cs periodically for updates/changes. For certain changes, We may be required under applicable law to give You advance notice of any change(s) to the T&Cs. Once you register for a membership you shall be bound by the T&Cs or any amendments thereto.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Us and our affiliates, and our respective employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors harmless from all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including legal fees, that arise out of or are related to any breach of the T&Cs by You or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of Your attendance or participation in the membership.
